Terms of Service
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us"), which runs Moso: a goals, tasks and memory app that you can connect to Claude. By creating an account or using Moso, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Moso.
1. Who can use Moso
- You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE, suggested 16] years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to create an account.
- If you use Moso for a company or other organization, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it. "You" then includes that organization.
- Moso is in early access. Features may change, be added or be removed as we build it.
2. Your account
- Give accurate sign-up details and keep your email address up to date.
- Keep your password safe and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what Claude does in Moso through a connection you set up.
- Tell us straight away at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Workspaces, organizations and teams
- Every account has a private personal workspace. Only you can see what's in it.
- You can create or join organizations, with teams and projects inside them. What you put in an organization's checklists, tasks, goals, chats or memory can be seen by the members of that organization (or of the team or project it belongs to).
- Owners and admins of an organization decide who is in it and can remove members and content. If you're removed, you lose access to that organization's content, but what you added stays with the organization.
4. Your content stays yours
Everything you put into Moso (tasks, goals, notes, chat messages, files and so on) is your content, and you keep all rights to it. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, process and display your content only to run Moso for you and the people you share it with: for example to sync it, show it to your organization, send it to Claude when you use the AI features, and keep backups. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups that expire on their normal schedule.
You confirm you have the right to put your content into Moso and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Don't put other people's personal information into Moso unless you're allowed to.
5. Acceptable use
When you use Moso, don't:
- break any law, or help anyone else break one;
- upload content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or infringes someone's rights;
- try to get into accounts, workspaces or data that aren't yours, or get around Moso's access controls;
- upload malware, attack or overload Moso, or scrape or copy it with automated tools other than the Claude connection Moso offers;
- use Moso's AI features to create content that breaks Anthropic's usage policy;
- resell Moso or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. AI features and connecting Claude
- Moso has its own AI ("Moso"), which runs on Anthropic's Claude models. When you use it, the content it needs is sent to Anthropic to produce a reply. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- You can also connect your own Claude (for example Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cowork) to Moso. Your Claude account is between you and Anthropic and follows Anthropic's terms. You're responsible for what your Claude does in Moso: it can read and change what your account can read and change.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it. AI replies are not professional advice (for example legal, medical or financial advice).
7. Price
Moso is free to use during early access. We plan to add paid plans. Before anything you use starts to cost money, we'll tell you the price and terms in advance, and you'll only pay if you choose a paid plan.
8. Our service
- We work to keep Moso available and your data safe, but Moso is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
- Keep your own copy of anything important. You can export your notes at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
- We may change or stop features. If we stop Moso altogether, we'll give you notice and time to export.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. While Moso is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to [LIABILITY CAP, e.g. JPY 10,000]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
10. Ending your use
- You can stop using Moso at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy).
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires us to. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your content.
- Sections 4 (the end of the licence), 9 and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Moso grows. For important changes we'll tell you in Moso or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Moso after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using Moso and ask us to delete your account.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW/COUNTRY]. Disputes go to the courts of [COURT], unless the law where you live as a consumer gives you the right to go to your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to sort it out.
